These terms apply to all visitors, users, and customers who access or use our services. We reserve the right to update or change these terms at any time, and it is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes.

Service availability may vary depending on your exact location, current workload, and time of request. For locations on the outskirts of Dhaka or areas not listed above, please call us at 01859-976686 to confirm availability before booking.

5Booking and Scheduling

You can book our services through the website form, by calling 01859-976686, or via our Facebook page. When you schedule an appointment, you are agreeing to provide accurate information including your name, address, phone number, and a description of the issue.

Here is how our scheduling process works:

  1. You submit a booking request with your preferred date, time, and service type.
  2. Our team confirms availability and assigns a technician.
  3. You receive a confirmation via phone call or SMS with the appointment details.
  4. Our technician arrives at the scheduled time to diagnose and perform the repair.

While we strive to honor all scheduled appointments, delays may occur due to traffic, weather, or emergency calls. We will notify you of any significant delays as early as possible. For urgent situations, you can request emergency AC repair service, which is prioritized over regular bookings.

Important: A booking request does not guarantee service until you receive confirmation from our team. Unconfirmed bookings are not binding on either party.

6Pricing and Payment Terms

All service charges are communicated to you before work begins. Our pricing generally consists of two parts:

  • Diagnosis/Visiting Fee: A fixed charge for the technician’s visit and problem diagnosis. This fee applies regardless of whether you proceed with the repair.
  • Repair/Service Charge: The cost of the actual repair work, which depends on the nature of the problem, parts required, and labor involved.

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Cash (most common)
  • bKash mobile payment
  • Nagad mobile payment
  • Bank transfer (for corporate or large orders)

All prices quoted are in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. We do not add hidden charges. If additional problems are discovered during the repair, the technician will inform you of the extra cost before proceeding.

7Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancelling an Appointment

You may cancel or reschedule your appointment by calling us at least 2 hours before the scheduled time. Cancellations made after this window may still incur the diagnosis/visiting fee if the technician has already been dispatched.

Refund Conditions

Refunds, where applicable, are handled on a case-by-case basis. The following guidelines apply:

  • If a repair fails within the warranty period due to our workmanship, we will redo the repair at no additional cost. This is our primary remedy.
  • If you have made an advance payment and we are unable to provide the service, a full refund will be processed within 5-7 working days to your original payment method.
  • If parts were supplied by us and found to be defective (not damaged by misuse), the part will be replaced free of charge.
  • Visiting or diagnosis fees are non-refundable once the technician has visited your location and performed the inspection.

No-refund situations: Visiting charges after a technician visit, repairs that fail due to customer mishandling or power issues, and services where the customer declined the recommended repair after diagnosis.

8Warranty and Service Guarantee

Mohammadi Engineering Ltd. provides a service warranty on repairs carried out by our technicians. The warranty terms are as follows:

  • AC Gas Refill: 30-day warranty against gas leakage from the points we serviced.
  • AC Repair (general): 30 to 90 days warranty depending on the type of repair and parts replaced. The exact warranty period will be stated on your service receipt.
  • Parts Supplied by Us: Parts carry the manufacturer’s warranty where applicable. If no manufacturer warranty exists, we provide a 30-day warranty on the part.
  • Refrigerator and Appliance Repair: 30-day service warranty on workmanship.

The warranty covers only the specific issue that was repaired. If a new, unrelated problem develops, it falls outside the warranty scope. Our AC servicing in Dhaka packages also include a follow-up check within the warranty period if the same issue recurs.

Warranty is void if: The appliance is tampered with by another technician, the damage is caused by voltage fluctuation or electrical issues beyond our control, the customer physically damages the unit, or the serial number/repair receipt cannot be presented.

9Customer Responsibilities

To ensure a smooth service experience, you agree to the following:

  • Provide accurate and complete information when booking, including your exact address, landmark, and contact number.
  • Ensure someone is present at the location at the scheduled time. If no one is available, the visiting fee may still apply.
  • Allow the technician safe access to the appliance. This includes clearing the area around the AC unit, ensuring power supply is available, and removing any obstructions.
  • Inform the technician of any known issues, previous repairs, or modifications done to the appliance.
  • Do not operate the appliance while the technician is working on it.
  • Make payment as agreed upon completion of the service.
  • Report any issues with the repair within the warranty period by calling 01859-976686.

If the technician determines that the working environment is unsafe (for example, exposed wiring, water leakage near the AC, or structural issues), they may refuse to proceed until the hazard is resolved. Your safety and our technicians’ safety come first.

10Limitation of Liability

Mohammadi Engineering Ltd. provides repair and maintenance services using industry-standard practices and qualified technicians. However, certain limitations apply:

  • We are not liable for pre-existing conditions, manufacturing defects, or damage caused by electrical surges, voltage instability, or improper installation by third parties.
  • Our total liability for any single service transaction shall not exceed the amount you paid for that specific service.
  • We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages such as property damage, food spoilage (in case of refrigerator issues), or loss of business revenue.
  • For inverter AC repair in Dhaka and other complex repairs involving circuit boards or electronic components, we will inform you of any inherent risks before proceeding.
  • We do not guarantee that every appliance can be repaired. If a unit is deemed beyond economical repair, we will advise you accordingly without charging for the repair itself (only the diagnosis fee applies).

Our liability does not extend to issues arising after the warranty period has expired or from unauthorized modifications made after our service was completed.

11Intellectual Property Rights

All content on acservices.com.bd, including but not limited to text, images, graphics, logos, service descriptions, blog articles, and design elements, is the property of Mohammadi Engineering Ltd. or is used with proper authorization.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or republish any content from this website without our prior written consent. This includes copying our service descriptions, blog posts, or other written materials for use on competing websites or platforms.

The Mohammadi Engineering Ltd. logo and brand name are registered trademarks. Unauthorized use of our brand identity for commercial purposes will be treated as trademark infringement.

12Third-Party Parts and Brands

During the course of our services, we may use or recommend parts from various manufacturers. This includes but is not limited to compressor brands (such as Toshiba, GMCC, Sanyo), gas types (R22, R32, R410A), capacitors, fans, filters, and other components.

When we perform an AC installation Dhaka project, the AC unit itself is supplied by the customer or purchased through a retailer of the customer’s choice. We do not sell AC units directly but can recommend brands and models based on your requirements.

  • All replacement parts used by our technicians are sourced from authorized distributors or reputable suppliers.
  • We do not claim to be an authorized service center for any specific AC or appliance brand unless explicitly stated.
  • Brand names mentioned on our website (such as Samsung, LG, General, Sharp, Walton, etc.) are used for reference purposes only to indicate compatibility.
  • Manufacturer warranties on AC units or appliances are subject to the original brand’s warranty terms and conditions, which are separate from our service warranty.
